DELF & TCF Certificates 

There are 4 diplomas corresponding to the first 4 levels described by the CEFR (Common European Frame work of Reference for Languages)

The DELF (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française) is an official French language studies diploma issued by the French Ministry of National Education, corresponding to the CEFR levels

  • DELF A1 - Exam Structure:

    • Listening: Comprehension questionnaires (3-4 very short recordings, played twice). Max 3 mins recording. (Approx 20 mins, 25 marks)

    • Reading: Comprehension questionnaires (4-5 written documents on everyday life). (30 mins, 25 marks)

    • Writing: Two parts: filling a record/form, writing simple phrases (postcards, messages, stories). (30 mins, 25 marks)

    • Speaking: Three parts: Guided conversation, Exchanging information, Role-play. (5-7 mins + 10 mins prep, 25 marks)
